Add colleagues to your firm on Mutuvo and control what they can do. Open
Team from the top navigation (or go to /settings/team).
Roles
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including changing roles and transferring ownership. One Owner per firm. |
| Partner | Invite colleagues, manage relationships and referrals. |
| MLCO | Money Laundering Compliance Officer — oversight of compliance and referrals. |
| Team member | Day-to-day use; read-only access to the team list. |
Inviting a colleague
- On the Team page, enter their email and pick a role under Invite a colleague.
- Click Send invite. They receive an email with a link that is valid for 7 days.
- The invite appears under Pending invitations until they join.
Only Owners and Partners can invite. If someone is already a member, or already has a pending invite, Mutuvo will tell you.
Accepting an invitation
The invited person clicks the link in their email, signs in with the invited email address, and confirms Join [firm]. They then land on the dashboard as a member. If they are signed in with a different account, Mutuvo asks them to sign in with the invited email.
Pending invitations
- Resend sends the invitation email again and extends the 7-day window. The original link keeps working.
- Cancel withdraws the invitation. The link stops working immediately.
Changing a role
Only the Owner can change roles. Pick a new role from the dropdown next to a member and confirm. You cannot change your own role, and promoting someone to Owner is done through Transfer ownership, not a role change.
Transferring ownership
Only the Owner can transfer ownership. Click Make owner next to a member and confirm. That person becomes the Owner, you become a Partner, and the new Owner is emailed. This cannot be undone by you afterwards — ask the new Owner to transfer it back if needed.
Every one of these actions is recorded in your firm's audit trail.
